We will start from the most basic words to describe character and look of the person in general.

- a person or a thing that is visually pleasing.

Example:

Sarah is a very attractive girl.

plump

- a person who’s a little overweight.

Example:

Sarah’s brother Nick is a plump boy, because he likes eating cakes for breakfast.

a blonde

- a person with light hair.

Example:

Michael finds Sarah beautiful because she is a tall blonde.

good character

- a pleasant and nice person.

Example:

Sarah is happy to meet Michael. He has a good character.

  • attractive - a person or thing that is visually pleasing.

    Example:

    Sarah is a very attractive girl.

  • plump - a little bit fat person.

    Example:

    Sarah’s brother Nick is a plump boy, he likes eating cakes for breakfast.

  • a blonde - a person with white hair.

    Example:

    Michael finds Sarah beautiful because she is a tall blonde.

  • good character - a pleasant and kind person with a positive outlook and open-mindedness.

    Example:

    Sarah is happy to meet Michael. He has a good character.

  • beautiful - who has a pleasant appearance.

    Example:

    Mary is a beautiful girl, she could be an actress or a model.

  • cute - someone very pleasant, gentle in relations with people, nice, handsome.

    Example:

    Just look at that guy next to us, isn’t he cute?

  • elegant - tastefully dressed.

    Example:

    Mike has a very pleasant, elegant look today.

  • good-looking - someone who looks very good, pleasant, and attractive.

    Example:

    My neighbor Tom is a good-looking guy.

  • fashionable - those who follow fashion, try to follow it in everything.

    Example:

    Wow, look at Sarah! She got a new dress that makes her look so fashionable.

  • handsome - attractive in appearance; pretty, lovely.

    Example:

    My new colleague Richard is a handsome man.

  • lovely - a very attractive; person with a good personality.

    Example:

    This actress from the new ‘Spiderman’ movie is so lovely.

  • pretty - the one who is not very beautiful, however, is attractive.

    Example:

    It’s hard to say that his new girlfriend is beautiful, she is rather pretty.

  • nice - pretty and pleasant person.

    Example:

    The new crush of my brother is a very nice girl.

  • well-dressed - a person that has an elegant and stylish outfit.

    Example:

    Don’t you agree that the barista is well-dressed today?

  • dirty - covered with dirt.

    Example:

    Ugh, Freddy put this dirty sweater on again.

  • poorly dressed - that has a very bad outfit.

    Example:

    Near the cafe, we saw the man, who was poorly dressed: old ugly boots, torn coat, and a dirty hat.

  • a plain face - can be said about a person not having much to look at.

    Example:

    As for me, this new pop-idol is just a plain face.

  • ugly - the one that has an unpleasant look.

    Example:

    Sorry, but I think that this dress is ugly.

  • an ugly fellow - an ugly-looking person.

    Example:

    That new Julie’s boyfriend is an ugly fellow.

  • unattractive - something that looks unpleasant.

    Example:

    Too much photoshop frequently makes your photo unattractive.

  • athletic - in a nice, sportive shape.

    Example:

    Nick is an athletic boy, he goes swimming and football 3 times a week.

  • average/medium/middle height - when the height is 160-170 cm.

    Example:

    Sarah is a girl of medium height.

  • broad-shouldered - the one who has broad shoulders.

    Example:

    Have you already seen that new broad-shouldered guy with brown hair and blue eyes?

  • fat - the one who has some extra weight.

    Example:

    I think that Mark is quite fat for his age, perhaps, he should eat less sweets.

  • thin - the one who is unusually thin.

    Example:

    Just look at Mary! How fresh and thin she is today!

  • tall - a person who is more than average height.

    Example:

    Steven is a tall and attractive young man.

  • small - a person who is less than average height.

    Example:

    Mr. Richardson’s daughter is a small and well-dressed young lady.

  • slim - thin in a way that is attractive.

    Example:

    Do you think I look slim in this dress? I hesitate whether buy it or not.

  • skinny - extremely thin person.

    Example:

    You look so skinny in those new jeans. Where did you buy them?

  • underweight - a person who has a weight less than normal.

    Example:

    Samantha had been working as a model for the last couple of years because she always was underweight.

  • plump - a slightly fat person.

    Example:

    Linda, do you remember Mrs. Turner’s son - a plump boy with a lovely face?

  • overweight - too heavy, fat in an unhealthy way.

    Example:

    I don’t think Kevin is overweight, he is rather a plump boy.

  • strong - a person that has physical power.

    Example:

    Her husband is a handsome strong man.

  • muscular - a person that has well-developed musculature.

    Example:

    I started training a month ago, do I already look muscular?

  • weak - a person who lacks physical power.

    Example:

    Don’t touch my sister, she is a weak woman. Better talk to me.

  • blue - that has the color of a clear sky or ocean.

    Example:

    Camille has sparkling blue eyes that look like two deep oceans.

  • bright eyes - that have a big amount of light.

    Example:

    My mother has a kind smile and bright eyes.

  • brown - that has the color of coffee or earth.

    Example:

    Teddy’s dog has big brown eyes.

  • dark - with a little amount of light.

    Example:

    He looked at Bella with his dark eyes and screamed in pain.

  • dark-gray - a color darker than the color of smoke.

    Example:

    Sam has brown hair and dark-gray eyes, just like his father.

  • eyebrows - the line of hair that grows above the eyes.

    Example:

    Nowadays thick eyebrows are trendy.

  • eyelashes - hairs that grow on the edge of eyelids.

    Example:

    Sandy has very long and beautiful eyelashes.

  • expressive eyes - that are able to express your thoughts or feelings.

    Example:

    Besides, the woman he met tonight had expressive eyes.

  • gray - that have the color of ashes or smoke.

    Example:

    When I looked at his gray eyes, I understood that there is nothing but love.

  • green - that has the color of grass.

    Example:

    Harry’s eyes were so deep and green, like the forest grass in the rising sun.

  • light blue - the color lighter than the color of a clear sky.

    Example:

    This girl reminds me of her father: light-blue eyes, red curly hair, and a witty mind.

  • active - ready to do something, take action.

    Example:

    Marty’s brother is a super-active person, he has so many projects to bring to life.

  • attentive - concentrated, capable of perceiving something.

    Example:

    Being an attentive person, I’ve noticed that you need help.

  • brave - unfearful, resolute person.

    Example:

    We need to be brave enough to continue fighting. And we actually are!

  • disciplined - obedient to discipline, orderly.

    Example:

    My Brother's children are very disciplined creatures.

  • energetic - showing great vitality, a highly active person.

    Example:

    Kayle is quite an energetic person, just look at his moves and speech.

  • fair - that treats people equally without discrimination.

    Example:

    Let’s be completely fair with David and discuss the accident one more time.

  • friendly - a person who behaves in a kind and pleasant way.

    Example:

    Although I am introverted, I consider myself a very friendly person.

  • honest - a person who always tells the truth.

    Example:

  • hardworking - a person who likes to work.

  • kind - doing good to others, responsive.

  • responsible - a person that acts properly without being supervised.

  • inattentive - not paying attention.

    Example:

  • irresponsible - that can not take responsibility.

    Example:

    Barry is an irresponsible boy, don’t ask him to do something anymore.

  • lazy - not willing to work or use any effort.

    Example:

  • naive - showing a lack of experience or knowledge.
